Message	But as I have said before, they have had tons of ECU programming tools in Japan and Asia for at least 10-20 years now... eg. virtually all tuning shops have their own EPROM burners and can *custom* tune a chip on a car for $500 or less. I think it never made it over here because of 2 reasons: liability (incl DOT regulations), and lack of experienced tuners.
